Although there were other guests, you always feel very private. The location is perfect. Public transport is readily available. Central yet you get the feeling of being out in the country. Service is excellent. Owners very helpful in advising on all aspects of places of interest. Breakfasts served in your room, makes you feel at home from home. Suite Oriani comes highly recommended by ourselves!
Overall great experience at the Suite Oriani. Very nice, quiet location away from the tourist areas of Rome. The rooms are as described on their website...a converted townhouse that's nicely decorated. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Language is not a problem since the staff speaks English. Breakfast is typical continental European and delivered to the room. We would definitely stay at the Suite Oriani again as well as recommend the Oriani to family and friends.
Overall very positive experience.
The housekeeping lady was pleasant and friendly, and seems to be the person who keeps this place ticking over. She is very efficient and clearly dedicated to her job. Suite Oriani is a nice house with pleasant furnishings. The area is nice, and feels safe. Bus stop to Termini is 5 minutes walk away.
I would not stay here again. I think it is very poor value for money. Our stay for 7 nights cost €1145 (€189 for some nights!!). Considering that this house has no facilities, this is expensive, even over new year. There is no breakfast room (breakfast must be taken in the room and is average at best), there are no communal areas to sit and relax, any time spent there must be spent in the room, in isolation basically. The location is ok, but a 25-30 minute bus journey from Termini. But there is not much there, barring a couple of hotels/restaurants. Having just paid a bill of €1145, I was very disappointed to be asked to produce €3 in cash for the minibar. This just makes the owners look greedy, and is one reason I will not return.
Family atmosphere, small hotel with 4-5 rooms, quiet neighbourhood, proximity to restaurants, helpful owners, breakfast is served in the room.
Expected bigger rooms and and some kind of lobby, there is almost no common area, just corridors which lead directly to the rooms.
The best was the willingness of the owners to help and make sure your stay was pleasant. Its a great b&b
I needed an iron which wasn't available but the owners were so kind to press for me the shirts I needed for work, so can't really complain...
Good and quiet location, very helpful stuff, the room was great, good value for money.
Missing of a garden or terrace.
Beautiful room, good bed and shower, comfortable and friendly. Very Italian. Recommended
Very clean room, excellent room service from Victoria, very good location and very safe for the people and the car(nearby embassies ) ,its one train station from the ancient town(Piazza del Popolo).highly recommended.see you again
The location. We attended a concert at the auditorium which is walking distance from Suite Oriani. It is also a short walking distance from a train station which is 1-2 stops away from the ancient city.
We loved this hotel. The location was perfect (close to the city centre, we did walk from centre one night, it took about 45min, the other night we took a taxi and it costed only €10), it felt very safe (one of the poshest areas in rome), has lovely restaurants and beautiful shops around. Easy connection with metro (just one stop by train, then u still can use the same €1.5 ticket when u change to metro). The hotel itself is beautiful, first impression was nice smell and spotless clean. Room was big, bathroom spacious, had walk-in wardrobe. We loved breakfast in the room. We definately would stay there again! Very good value for the money.
We had a problem with luggage lost by Alitalia, and we greatly appreciated the assistance that they gave us with trying to find it and get it transferred to our flight home. Located in a quiet, clean, upscale area of houses, that is convenient to good restaurants, a park where one can run and to the subway to downtown. Everything works as it should. Very helpful staff. Economical, especially considering the cost of downtown hotels.
It is not near any of the principle attractions that tourists seek to visit in Rome. The instructions of how to find the subway could be a bit clearer and a detailed map showing all of the local streets would have been helpful. There is no breakfast room, and all breakfasts are served in the rooms, unless it is good weather, and they can serve on the terrace.
Helpful, friendly family run. Convenient, safe location. Clean spacious room in a villa with character
Difficult to find fault but the only possible negative is that the street parking is a bit hit and miss
This was the perfect place for our stay in Rome, especially for the price. The staff was wonderful; the in-room breakfasts were fantastic! This hotel gets you away from the touristy hustle and bustle and makes you feel like a local. Highly suggest this accommodation.
Our room wasn't sound proof in certain parts of the room (bathroom). This shouldn't be a reason to avoid the hotel.
